Hidden Deck Fastener Clips for Composite Decking Boards 1/4 Gap Spacing (100-Pack)

Myard universal hidden deck fastener clips (hardness 12.9 + dacromet coating) come with included screws for easy installation. Insert the fasteners into the grooved edge of the deck board and align the screw hole with the center of the joist. Only screw halfway down, do not fully tighten the screws. Slide the second board into place, ensuring the fasteners fit into the groove, and install screws and fasteners on the other side of the second board in the same manner as steps 1 & 2. Do not fully tighten the screw.

Tighten screws on the fasteners in the first row before proceeding with the rest of the deck boards. Remember to use hidden fasteners at every joist and tighten all screws once all boards are in the correct place. Use a long #1 square bit for best results and do not over-tighten the screws, stop tightening when the screw head reaches the plastic part to set a proper torque.
